The purpose of this Memorandum is to provide information to schools about parent trainings that will be offered by the Division of Special Education and the Local Districts during the 2009-2010 school year. Schools are required to publicize and disseminate this information to parents of students with disabilities. The information includes calendars of parent presentations by the Special Education Parent Training Information Office (PATIO), the Complaint Response Unit/Parent Resource Network (CRU/PRN) monthly meetings, and Local Districts. Maps for the Special Education Multicultural Advisory Committee (SEMAC) and Community Advisory Committee (CAC) monthly meetings are also included. |

This information also applies to schools who have self-selected to use the Voyager Passport Intervention Program and provides school administrators with guidelines for implementation and support. |
